Time has flown, as usual and here we find ourselves on the first day of May 2025 already.

This is a photo of little Rocket, showing off his beautiful coat and face with sparkling eyes. Papillons are a joy full stop but when the puppies arrive and come into their own, there is nothing quite like it.
They're fast learners, eager to play and be cuddled as often as possible. They also love their down time, snuggling into their favourite toy or sibling. They're a relatively easy breed to look after and it serves us well to start their grooming routine as soon as their fur is grown just enough to gently brush, getting them used to this pleasant and necessary interaction.

Checking their teeth often helps with understanding their dental health and having them used to being handled. This is also a good opportunity for us to check their whole body, posture and observe their markings etc. We weigh them regularly to see their rate of growth, making sure they're getting all the nutrients possible from their healthy diet.
As you may well know, Papillons are a loving, tactile breed that thrive on regular interactive communication. Each have their differing, cute personalities - some being more cheeky than others. You get to know the very sooky ones quite soon.

We cuddle and play with our puppies many times per day, ensuring they are used to being handled gently and lovingly. The pups' mothers are always close by though, making sure that their little ones are protected, checking up on them and often joining in on the extra cuddle time.
